PR OSHA otorga el Banner de la iniciativa “Door to Door in the Construction Industry” a F&R Construction Group, Inc. en el proyecto Revitalización José Gautier Benítez en Caguas

Con el propósito de promover y concienciar a los patronos y empleados de la industria de la construcción sobre la importancia de la seguridad y salud en sus proyectos, la División de Programas Voluntarios de PR OSHA toca las puertas de los contratistas para invitarlos a participar en esta iniciativa donde tendrán el beneficio de recibir la visita de personal especializado, quienes les ayudarán a identificar y corregir los riesgos existentes en el proyecto, sin ser citado ni penalizado.

Sólo se requiere que el contratista esté comprometido con la seguridad y salud de sus empleados, con la corrección de los riesgos identificados por el consultor y recibir una visita de consulta, al menos, cada tres (3) meses hasta que finalice el proyecto o mientras se mantenga activa la participación en este Programa. A los patronos participantes se les provee un “banner” que se despliega en el proyecto que lee: “PR OSHA es seguridad” y están exentos de inspecciones programadas mientras esté activa su participación.

With the aim of promoting and raising awareness among construction-industry employers and employees about the importance of safety and health on their projects, PR OSHA’s Voluntary Programs Division knocks on contractors’ doors to invite them to take part in this initiative, through which they receive a visit from specialized personnel who help them identify and correct existing project hazards — without being cited or penalized.

The contractor is only required to be committed to the safety and health of its employees, to correct the hazards identified by the consultant, and to receive a consultation visit at least every three (3) months until the project is completed or while participation in the program remains active. Participating employers are provided with a banner displayed at the project that reads “PR OSHA es seguridad” (PR OSHA is safety), and they are exempt from scheduled inspections while their participation is active.
